I had a great stay at Hotel Le Voyageur, with a clean room and friendly staff, although it had a few drawbacks like parking availability. The hotel's location is super convenient, being close to many restaurants and just a short drive from Quebec City. The breakfast provided was decent, but there were some minor issues with the breakfast options. Overall, it was a solid choice for my budget and needs. 😊

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in a room with two queen beds, which was spacious and clean. Though it felt a bit dated, it met my needs well, and the private shower was a nice touch.
Service
9.0
The front desk staff, including Martha and Marie Pier, were very professional and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable. The breakfast crew was also helpful.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located in an older residential area, just a few minutes from Quebec City. It’s close to restaurants and has convenient public transport options, making it easy to explore.
Dining
7.0
The free breakfast included good pastries and coffee, although some muffins could have been better. It was nice to have a breakfast included without extra cost.
Facilities

The indoor pool was nice, though the chlorene smell was a bit overwhelming. The hotel also had good amenities, adding to the overall experience.

5.0/10

My stay at Hotel Le Voyageur had its ups and downs. The breakfast was decent with fresh options, and the room was spacious. However, I found the lighting super dim, making it hard to read, and some areas felt outdated and in need of a refresh.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious with a divider between beds, which gave it a bit of privacy. Yet, the lighting was really dim, and I spotted an ugly bug on the floor, which I reported.
Service
5.0
The staff at the front desk was friendly, but the reception experience varied. One of the clerks was rude and condescending, which cast a shadow over the stay.
Location
6.0
The hotel's in a quieter residential area, not far from downtown and public transport, which made it somewhat convenient to get around.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had limited but fresh offerings, including yogurt, eggs, and pastries, though the food at times felt cold and dry.
Facilities
5.0
While the room had basic amenities like a fridge and coffee maker, the environment felt outdated and could use some face-lifting.

I had a pretty good stay at Hotel Le Voyageur. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the firm beds didn't quite match my preference for softness, and I did have some issues with the air conditioning not cooling my room adequately. Overall, it's a solid option for anyone visiting Quebec City who wants comfort at a reasonable price. 😊

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean, spacious, and included two rooms with dividing french doors, which was perfect for keeping the kids in their own space while we relaxed. However, the firmness of the beds wasn't ideal for me.
Service
7.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, quickly accommodating my requests and even assisting me in finding local attractions for my family. However, I encountered some issues with one staff member who was not as welcoming.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a quieter residential area, which I appreciated as it was only about a 5-minute drive from the bustling streets of Vieux Quebec. It felt safe and convenient for exploration.
Dining
7.0
The complimentary continental breakfast had a decent selection, including fresh fruit and pastries. However, I did feel a bit uncomfortable with how the staff monitored us during breakfast.
Facilities

I loved the saltwater pool for a refreshing dip. There were also ample parking spaces. However, I had some issues with the heating system that required a room switch, which was inconvenient.

Hotel Le Voyageur was a budget-friendly choice for my visit to Quebec City. it met my basic needs for cleanliness and comfort. However, the room had a lingering smell that detracted from the experience, and the noise from outside was sometimes disruptive. Overall, I found it a decent place to crash, especially at the competitive rate I paid.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, though it had a strange smell and noise issues from the bar below. A lack of available outlets was also a drawback.
Service
5.0
Check-in went smoothly, but interactions with staff felt a bit impersonal. they answered my questions but didn't seem overly friendly.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located in a residential area, which was somewhat convenient. there were nearby amenities, but it wasn't within walking distance of downtown.
Dining

The continental breakfast was fair, with a few decent options like toast and muffins, though I opted for an outside option instead.
Facilities
5.0
The shared spaces seemed alright, but the indoor pool left much to be desired. the smell of chlorine was overwhelming.
